just checked my front fender liner(driver and passenger side) and noticed it was cut on the outside between the fender and liner from front of fender to back making a 2" gap above the tire. i bought the car used 2 years ago and never noticed it. will take pics later. (i'm on vacation and was thinking about it again since winter will be here soon) its my extra car and wanted to drive it more… i have 20k miles on it. is this a needed part to change? will water damage any items located under this fender lining? i figured they cut it out for an aggressive tire set up and drop??? thanks for any advice and opinions! any links on how to do this? i don't think people have this problem. thanks again
