What oil are you using?
Coming up on my first oil change with this 08 Gs350 AWD. In my previous 07 GS i used Valvoline 5w30 oil. Just wondering what you all put in your engines.

With my special membership I obtain Amsoil at wholesale prices and yes I have drank the Kool Aid on this stuff something fierce! LOL. I swear by it and all their products big time!

Gunny, nothing's wrong with Amsoil, so whether people call you a fanboy or not... they make solid products.
I'm a Redline fan.... Good stuff, 5w-20 right now. (car's made for 5w-30).

Mobil 1 5w30 (only because it is cheap from Costco, and have only done this maybe twice)
or
Lexus 5w30 dino oil (when it is more convenient to just let dealer do it)
Honestly, with a 5k OCI, a good quality regular 5w30 will suffice
My GS300 AWD has had Lexus dino oil for, basically, its entire life with a 5k OCI. I burn less than a quart per 5,000 miles. (I'm at 106k miles now)

I have amsoil in mine, but I kind of just subscribe to the thinking that it doesn't matter what you put in (I just put synthetic in to extend OCI) - nobody can really tell the difference so I'm always surprised when people somehow feel passionate about motor oil. You put it in and forget about it, as long as it gets changed once in a while I don't think it matters one bit.

I have to check them out. In my previous GS I used Valvoline products no complaints...just seeing what the community on this forum used in their vehicles.
