just picked up a gs 430
like the title says i just picked up a 06 gs 430 with 52k miles. car is amazing coming from my is300, which i still own and wont give up. there a differences with the mechanics such as braking a throttle response. im use to a cable driven system and not all this tech stuff doing the work for me, such as the cruise brake assist feature. there is one thing that is confusing me and that is the sunroof button layout. close will open the sunroof and open will open the sunroof. up and down do similar things as well, just wish it was like my is300 sunroof.
the plans for this vehicle:
lower the vehicle on f sport springs
throw these shoes on it sometime this year. (20x8 f 20x9or10 r)
replace the rear view mirror mirror if possible. apparently the previous owner had some one clean the vehicle and they have applied some solvent on the mirror and basically screwed the mirror itself.
here is a picture of my lexus's together
(my turbo acura integra gsr awaiting to be played with!)

That's pretty common for the mirror to do that in these cars for some reason.
Just so you know, the F-sport springs will only give about an inch of drop and will increase the firmness quite a bit. I didn't like mine.

i dont want to lower the vehicle that much, i just want it to hug the rims. my integra is on full coilovers and that car has a ton of work done to it already. as for the mirror what have you guys done to replace the mirror? i imagine the dealer may sale just the mirror alone. also, do you guys use the grom audio unit for the gs model? i have it for my is300 and i was thinking about getting another unit for my gs. any thought?

I would get a mirror/glass company to replace the mirror for you. The dealer will charge waaaay too much for the same crappy mirror.
I use the Vaistech unit for audio. It's pricey, but it works well.

before i dropped a valve at the track, using itr cams with gsr valvetrain yeah that doesnt work. i made 460whp and ran a 12 flat on low boost (roughly 380ish) @110mph i believe. new setup is a 84mm sleeved block, fully built head and a custom turbo. pump gas we will do about the same as above and when i switch to race full we can make about 700whp
rough draft of this motor:
fully built from trans to motor
cp 9.1 piston
manley turbo tuff rods
manley full valvetrain
port and polish head
turbo custom built similiar to a garret 3076r
ramhorn maninfold to 3in dp and exhaust.
there is more but this isnt the place for it
also, i have the mark levingston sound system but i think one of the rear speakers is blown. do you guys source the speaker though the dealer or just go with a different brand all together? im not changing the head unit since i have nav and back up camera, btw.

as for the drop i just want a one inch drop just like the integra type r sits lower than the integra gsr. i dont want an "obvious" drop just a little drop when i get my rims. if i could put is F rims on my is300 i would because it needs a little drop. are you telling me the f sport springs are stiff? do you know the spring rate of the stock gs vs the f sport?

Why not go full coilovers?

dont want a aggressive drop, feel or dealing with is it even on the other side. i have full skunk2 pro c for my integra. they handle great and all but i dont need them for the gs. i need to find out way my speakers are rattling in the vehicle.

Look like it need to be recalibrate. It can be done easily by holding the button and just let it cycle through. When it stop, that's when the calibration is done. Than open should open and close should close. This happen when the vehicle lost power. I had to do the same when I replace my battery. Thanks to a thread on here that I learn this calibration.
