In my opinion I think the instrument cluster color change is one of the best detailed features on the 3GS.....too bad its not on the 4GS! With the weather warming and sun out more on the East Coast it changes more often.

automatically goes blue tinted in glare/bright sunlgith based on ambient light, you can set the sensitivity but it is not exactly intuitive. In the little fold down control panel where you set the mirrors/cluster brightness there is a "mode" button that sets the sensitivity.

Totally agree. I thought I was the only one who loved these stainless gauges. Reminiscent of a cockpit. The 4GS IP, dash and interior styling went BMW like which is too bad.

When I first showed my wife the gauges I asked her what she thought of them and she says "they're badass!" And she's not the type of person that uses words like that lol. Definitely a nice touch of class to the car.
