Default mr. tetsuo's GS build

Jus wanted to share the build on my GS.

I used to drive a 98 LS400, but sold it because the college commute was killer on my gas. Fixed it up a bit though I wanted to do more to it. Oh well… on to better things. Here are a couple pics from before the part out and sell.

Always loved the styling of the 3GS. I started my search for the cheaper GS300. After reading some of the reviews on here, I gravitated to the GS350. Test drove one and even though it was missing a few options I wanted, I was gonna pull the trigger. Then saw a 450h for sale for a few grand more. Fully loaded (I think at least) and decided to test drive it. Ended up being way more fun to drive, so I bought it lol.

It’s a 2007 GS450h Mercury Metallic with ash interior named “Zeppelin.” Since day 1, I have not regretted my purchase at all. My plan is to go EXE with a bit of VIP since this is gonna be my daily.

Anyway on to the parts….

“A goal without a deadline is just a dream.”
so much for following the below checklist in order lol...

Stuff to do soon (trying to finish before the start of fall semester):
(X) Wheels – wanted to go full face, but didnt
(X) Springs – wanna keep the OEM adjustable damper
(X) Arms – Got some camber and toe arms
(X) Roll all 4 corners - front 2 rolled, gotta shave rears
( ) Tint
( ) OEM rain visors
( ) Get it detailed

Stuff to do later (Probably work on it next year) :
( ) NAV override – Leaning toward beatsonic, had it in the LS with no problems
( ) LED trunk lighting
( ) Post-mc 450h grille
(X) RCA kit – front
( ) Quad fog light projectors in OEM housing – wanted this on LS, it carried over
( ) Wire fog lights to go on with driving lights
( ) Wood flooring for trunk

Stuff to do eventually (After everything else is done and if im not broke) :
(X) Lip kit – anything, but a rep lol
( ) Side mirror turn signals
( ) Puddle lights
( ) Muffler tips – kinda want squared off oval, dual
( ) Chrome trunk bar
( ) Black out headlight interior housing
( ) Maybe put neckpads, curtains

Comments [good/bad] or advice is welcomed and appreciated. Looking forward to this build.

Grats on the purchase, you'll probably want to shave the rear fenders instead of rolling them though.

thanks, I skimmed over that one thread about it. Jus worried about the structural rigidity.

I think I read somewhere that the top right is a dummy button on all GS correct?

Congrats. I also own a 450h. Yours is unique though! You have both radar cruise (maybe even pre-collision?) and the active power stabilizer suspension system (APSSS) options! How do you find the APSSS system helps in turns?

thanks. cool to know mine had a good list of options lol. i do have the radar cruise, not sure how to check if i have the pre-collision. i never test drove a 450h without the APSSS, but i can say that taking on/off ramps to the freeway are pretty fun. there is alot less body roll compared to my LS.
