Unable to Connect iPhone using Bluetooth
I have a 2007 GS 350. A week ago, I deleted my iPhone from the memory in my Lexus. I tried to add it again, but I am unable to do so. After I click 'Register' on the screen (car), I then click the 'Device' which says 'Not Paired' until I push the device on the phone. As soon as I select the device, the vehicle screen disconnects the setup process.
Has anyone has this happen and what would you suggest I do to correct the problem?

Yes, I tried turning the car off and re-starting it; I even did the same with the iPhone. I did delete the phone from the car's memory as well as deleted the car form the phone's memory. I am not sure what else I can do. Thoughts?

I'm not gonna lie, at one point my car's BT gave me odd problems with syncing, it just came back to working condition after a while.
My ONLY guess??? Would be to reset the car via disconnecting the battery (it's the easiest way from what I can tell).
Have the radio reset pretty much and see if that helps.
P.S. Don't forget to fix all your presets, your windows, and your seat orientation. GL!

I was quite irritated when I took the car to Lexus for another problem and the technician didn't reset ANYTHING! I had to return the vehicle assuming there was a problem only to be told by the service associate what was wrong...he was great and reset it for me.
I will try that (battery) b/c I have no idea what else to try. Thanks for all of the recommendations.

great idea too sush1a.
I'm an android nuthugger, but because I love helping my fellow CL members, I won't dip into the whole droid vs apple thing....
Wifey owns a crapbook air and a crapad. both were given to her free from her boss, otherwise I would have made her trade it out from day 1.

I initially had this issue when I first got my car (08 GS350) but then the BT picked up the car -- from my phone. One issue I'm having is syncing my phone's phone book to the car. Is this possible? I tried the phonebook data transfer thru the nav screen, but it kept saying "Please transmit phonebook data." Is there another step I'm supposed to do, or does this take some time/ sync automatically? I waited my whole ride home until canceling the setup (roughly 20 minutes) and nothing.
It has Navi & ML pairing an iPhone 4S btw if that helps...just bought it and love it (the car that is)!
Thanks

I haven't jailbroken my iphone, it's still "stock" lol. I'm going to google a fix and also try a search on here as well. I've scoured a bunch of threads using the search feature, but it resulted in threads aimed at the ES and LS. Unless anyone has a quicker solution, it would be appreciated. I would like to utilize the voice feature to dial people rather than manually select the contact from my phone to call
