My Android (Galaxy S3, and the Galaxy S4) synced better then my iPhone (3gs back then)..... On the iphone, it took a lot of tries and waiting. On the Galaxy it synced right away.

I took a lot of tries of deleting and retrying with the iphone. I guess just keep trying and do it when the car is stopped like in your garage....

Ok thanks. I'll try that, but I also read that on pre-2010 MY cars that the BT phonebook syncing wasn't possible for iphone4/4s due to the nav unit not having the proper software/ability to sync it. Anyone else with an iphone 4s that had success with this?
