Default New GS460 owner

Been on the forum for quite sometime with my '95 SC400, but figured it was time to get a big boy car, so I picked up my '08 GS460 last week with only 16,000 miles on her. So far, I don't have a single complaint about the car! Been loving the headroom as well (I don't recommend an SC for people over 6'4").

Anyways, it's smokey granite mica with black interior, fully loaded. Here's the only pic I've snapped so far.

Looking forward to learning more about these cars and chatting with you all.

Did the previous owner forget they owned it or what?!? Do you mind me asking how much you paid? I'm guessing around $30k since I've seen 460's with way more miles selling around $27k.

So you are the person who purchased it! I was about to buy it 3 weeks ago, but changed my mind! It was from Audi of Lynnwood. Good price! It was in the high 20's asking. Happy for you.

Thanks, Guys! I got it for $29,300. Got them to repair all 4 wheels that had curb rash (old people cruiser for sure) and replace the water pump/coolant. Asking price was $29,990, so I was able to do a little bit to the price. Also helps that my buddy is the tech there, so he looked it over and did all the work, which gives me some peace of mind. For some reason the water pump gasket was leaking a little, so they just did the whole pump to be safe. Rest of the car is as solid as can be! Only put about 100 miles on her since, mostly because there isn't a single rock chip on the hood (getting tint and a 3M clear mask put on tomorrow). Can't wait to get it out and cruise more.

And yes, Stormrider, 'twas I

Congrats on a great find. It's an exact replica of mine, except mine is going to hit 100k next month. So, 16k miles...WOW.

Thanks, everyone! Been loving the car so far! Just got it back from getting 20% tint and a clear bra/mask put on, and go figure, they scratched the mirror and just covered it with the protective film, AND put 3 dings/scratches on the driver's side B-pillar > Pretty ticked off about it.
