Default New shoes on my black beauty

Black Saphire beauty to be exact.

After way too much reading on what will fit and what won't fit I decided I'm just going to make it work one way or another.
Wheels are STR 607 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rear.
+35 offset all around(not by choice). The rear was supposed to be +40 which would have fit PERFECTLY, but I got screwed into +35.
Tires are 245/35 front and 275/30 rear.
A VERY mild drop on f-sport springs which I don't think have settled 100%. I'd say I lost 1/2" all around so far.

Front only had minor rubbing on the fender liner which was easily fixed with some heat. The rear required some minor shaving and I still have a bit more grinding to do. Nothing crazy, but the +40 offset in the rear probably wouldn't have required any mods. The tires are slightly stretched which I'm not a fan of, but it's not that bad. Rears could have used a 285, but that would have required more fender work.

You won't hurt my feelings if you don't like it, but your honesty is appreciated. I'm into this whole thing for $1500 so it didn't break the bank.

I'm a big fan of 5 spokes and I originally fell in love with the Vossen CV3's, although they're a bit more expensive.

The rims were $840 shipped.

I'm really kicking myself for accepting the +35 instead of the +40 rears. That 5mm would have made a huge difference. A 20x10.5 with a +40 offset would fit like a glove in the back of this car.

I see, not a bad price, is like $210 each, I'm thinking about the Vossen CV4 or CV5 at the moment, waiting for danielle to give me a price quote for those 2, already ordered tires from tirerack

danielle posted the pictures for CV3, CV4, & CV5 here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-my-3gs-2.html

I've never been a fan of staggered setups, but I really like the look on these cars. The extra meat on the back looks awesome.

I had to shave about half of the lip off the rear fenders to clear the rear tires which eliminated the screw holes for the trim piece. I really wanted to keep that trim piece, but clearing the 20x10.5 +35 was more important.

I'm updating this because this information seemed to be VERY hard to find when I was searching for what would fit and what modifications were necessary.

A 20x10.5 275/30 with a +40 offset would probably fit with no modifications.

20x10.5 275/30 with +35 offset will require shaving the rear inner fender lip about 5mm.

I'm a couple hours away in Havasu. I have the same stickers and G2 paint haha.

Wow I have serious issues with this app and posting.

I agree. I'm still thinking about different springs. I didn't get the drop or ride that I was looking for.

Not sure. My kid is the only one who rides back there and he doesn't weigh much. I noticed it has rubbed the insulation up in the wheel well though.

Default Any updated pictures

How have the springs settled after a few more months on them ? I'm gonna be running the exact set up here soon.
