Transmission not engaged/engine cold- speed bump
2007 GS 350 AWD in power mode, 22,000 actual miles on the car.
Pavement - dry
When going slowly over a neighborhood speed bump after about 2 minutes of low speed engine operation (engine still cold), the transmission seems to disengage, spinning in neutral for about one second, then it engages.
This doesn't happen when the engine is warm.
Is this normal? Is it a problem? thanks.

I have an 06 IS250 and my car does that when its really cold. IF the engine is still cold and i stop or comes close to stop, its like it bounces back to neutral and idles at like above 1k rps til i start moving again. You can feel it when on the stop and go
It could be normal because I know these cars have some features that wont let you do things till the car is fully warm. Like if the car is still cold, and your driving, it wont let you engage 6th gear till it reaches near operating temperature.
