I would also say go wireless. (Bluetooth streaming). Stream anything from Youtube to Pandora to Internet Radio and of course your music. Limited control on steering wheel (volume, skip up/down) and decent sound. And just charge via normal charger
Car seems too old for any fully integrated control (Playlist control, song text on radio etc) if I remember correctly....
