Ahhh.. That makes more sense now. All the Sport A/S tires I've seen have been the ZPs.

I wonder if its still the case that they sound/feel better than the non run-flat A/S 3's. I would go for the Super Sport if I didn't need the all season capabilities.

Thanks all.

I had them installed last July after one of the Kumho's (25k miles on them; rotated every 5k; hardly any treadwear) developed a bubble while I was driving through the desert between Yuma and El Centro. It was 104 degrees and was I ever thankful my spare was up to par, as I had another 150 miles to go to get to San Diego. I also had to pick up two friends in El Cajon, where they had flown to from Phoenix that morning. I had the Michelins installed in San Diego - all 4 Kumho's were replaced. During the drive back to AZ from San Diego, and a subsequent round trip AZ-SD-AZ drive, the tires performed flawlessly with no drifting whatsoever. In addition, I drove over 5k miles cross-country last August. Today, with over 8k miles accumulated since installation, the flawlessness continues.

I have the DWS on my 2IS with a rear f-sport sway bar. very comfortable. soft sidewalls but very compliant over bumps and road imperfections. also whisper quiet compared to OEM bridgestones.

have looked all over and cannot find the Pilot Sport A/S Plus in a non ZP (run-flat) version. In fact, the only Michelins I can find are either the Sport A/S 3 with the XL load rating or the Sport A/S Plus with the ZP rating.

I'm of the thought that whether I go with the XL load rating or ZP's, I'll get a very hard sidwall either way. It sounds like that's what has been causing the harsh ride. I'd really like to make the purchase this week and want to make sure that my $1,200 set of new tires is something I'm going to be happy with for the next three years or so.

Does anyone have a part/item number for the non-runflat version of the sport?
