Default Break Noise Issue

I wanted to see if anyone else was having issues with break noise when only in reverse? I have extremely loud break noise only when I reverse out. Could this just mean I need to get a break change?

Mines make noise only when they're cold. Kinda annoying lol from what I've read its common on stock brake setups. Which is why I plan on swapping em out next spring.

yup i have that issue when its cold, my car is CPO and dealer didn't really want to swap it for me under CPO warranty, but i call Lexus Corporate office and have them do it for me free of charge,

at first i wanted them to swap all 4 brakes and rotors, but i am happy with just the front.. oh well

Did that solve the problem? My car is CPO as well. I just had my front pads and rotors changed about 3 months ago and the noise in the morning is enough to break glass.

There is plenty of break pad left, which comes to a surprise with so much noise in the mornings.

What kind of break setup were you thinking of?

Yes I have this damn annoying squeking noise even after I changed to Akebono Pads and Aftermarket Centric roters. Even after changing all four pads and rotors I still get the noise.

I have zero issues with EBC Green and Rotora rotors (fronts)

My rears do occasionally (VERY SELDOM) make noise, and they're stock.

Have you guys greased up your calipers before reinstalling your rotors+pads? That might be it, and it may also be something else.... If anyone's in Orlando and local, I'd be more than willing to help you figure out the squeeling noise.

Same here.
Centric new rotors in back and new Lexus pads. Squeals when backing up.

I just ordered green stuff front pads. I'm gonna try to shave the factory rotors., but if that doesn't wor, what would you guys recommend for front rotors. Nothing too fancy just a quality rotor.

I'm in Orlando quite a bit. May need to pay you a visit sometime.

yeah... I have the same issue... very very very annoying ... my mechanic friend says its the way I drive... applying the brakes so many times at high speeds... my brake pads still have life in it...

akebono brake pads, oem brake system and caliper. Last time I had a brake service I had the rotors refinished to reduce warping on the rotors...

I am have the extended platinum warranty.. but i don't think it covers brakes.. it would make sense if you had a history of brake service at lexus they would warranty it, in my case never had it done .. and don't want to pay for a brake service at lexus... -_-
