Was hoping for some help. I been having tranny problems so I got this tool to do a little diagnosis.

https://s3.amazonaws.com/sonnax-dev/...61E-ZIP-IN.pdf

Page 3 Figure 11 shows the outline of how our transmission works. Pictured are A761E but our A960's are identical working manner.

Two weeks ago I recorded using the Tech Stream while driving for about 2 miles. This morning I looked at my data and it showed that the SLU and Lockup Solenoid don't turn on till 5th gear for both. The chart from Sonnax shows the SLU should turn on and stay on from 2nd to 6th gears.

I have a p0761 error that keeps turning on because there is a delay of my 3-4 shift. I manually shift so this error code isn't tripped but there is a 2 second delay and harsh 3-4th.

Can someone that recorded see if their SLU turns on and when. Thanks in advance.

Under the driver side dash. It's aligned with steering wheel. It has a cap that needs to be opened.

Does anyone know, if you disable the daytime running lights with Techstream, does that keep them off completely regardless of which light position is selected on the stalk, or does it just shut them off when the stalk position is "off" but still leaves the DRL on when the stalk is set to "auto"?

Also received this error message at first, but after starting the vehicle and letting the drivers completely load for the USB cable, (which drivers are included on the disc) it connected successfully. It just took a minute or so.

Still playing with the settings and customizations, however the health check seems very accurate for I already knew what my problem areas were, the telescoping wheel being one of them.

And yes, I turned off the annoying DRL's

Also, I did not have to leave the car running for customizing, just left the ignition on. You need to have the car running to run the healthcheck on the system.

Anybody tried Carista yet? I attempted it only to find out my Nextbook doesn't have bluetooth capability. I really thought that was a standard item even on el cheapo tablets.

Correct, as of now we don't support the 3rd gen GS because it uses Toyota's older communication protocol (btw, the Yaris uses the newer one since 2006... but the higher-end models don't. Go figure). We are looking into adding support for that older protocol though, and so far it seems possible with an ELM327 Bluetooth device. I'll let you guys know if we succeed.

I fixed this by running xhorse in the background. Made sure it said connected before trying to connect to my car.

Also on sonar mode, does anyone know the difference between normal and steering? Was afraid to change it lol
