Hey gang, I just had a mis fire 1,5,6 check engine light. I had it reset to see if it comes back. If it does what do you think...its an 07 with 50k. I have read all your symptoms and am wondering if it has any relation to the valve spring recall job?

Has the misfire stopped now or is it permanent?

Mine came and went as the oil temp was warming up but slowly got worse where it did it all the time under load, hot or cold! Turned out to be 1 duff coil pack plus 1 of the rocker cover gaskets leaking into one of the spark plug tubes, causing the coil pack to arc out and not give the spark plug its correct feed, so they cleaned up the coil pack and moved it to a different cylinder to make sure it was working and that was it!

So could b a coil pack/spark plug even though its throwing up multiple misfire codes! Do you get "multiple random cylinder misfire" code aswell (or something similar)??

Hello,
I stumbled upon your post from years ago. What ever happened and did they ever figure it out? I am dealing with this misfire 135 and already spent $2,500 changing out tons of stuff.

Why are you changing a bunch of stuff and complicating things? What were the parts that you replaced? Did you use oem parts?

Yes used oem parts. Changed out these:
air fuel sensor
plugs
fuel filer
fuel pump
fuel relay
all o2 sensors
gasket
coils
maf sensor
bunch of hoses
and ran injector cleaners

one shop said maybe change the injectors but at this point I have already spent $2,500 for all new parts and from what I read someone put in new injectors and still had the same problem.

has anyone solved their problem? I am still getting misfire 135

I had a misfire from 1,3, 5 but it was because I replaced the spark plugs and one of the rubber o-rings seals in the connector came undone and when I washed the engine, water got trapped inside. All it took was cleaning out the terminals on the plugs.

But still this doesnt mean you have the same issue. Did you take it to the dealership and pay for 1 hours worth of diagnostics? $2500 thats a lot of money, your dealing with a slime ball mechanic whos not experienced in diagnostics. 1-2 hours is all it takes to figure out a misfire. You have a mechanic thats guessing and wasting your money.
