I run 33 PSI and I'm about 1MPH faster than my speedo would indicate at 70 MPH.

That's a really interesting option. Do you mind if I ask what other tires you considered before going with the MXM4? How is the cornering? Would you happen to know the speed and load rating for those tires?

I just went to Costco to ask their opinion. For what it's worth, they immediately recommended the A/S 3 but in a V speed rating as opposed to a Y rating. The guy said that the minimum speed rating for our cars is V and anything above that is not necessary and would cause a firmer ride.
I can't believe that this issue hasn't been discussed before. It seems so obvious. I searched, though, and couldn't find anything.

Thanks. People are always concerned about ride quality with our cars and I'm just so surprised that with a the research I did that I never came across this issue being discussed. I am going to call Michelin on Monday morning and I'll post up what they say.

So I called Michelin this morning. They said that the sidewall of the V rated tire will definitely be softer than the sidewall of the Y rated tire. Problem solved, right? Nope, my dealer wont extend the buy 3 get 1 free deal to them because the V rated tire is not on their approved list.
So now I'm stuck. I have no clue what to do. My deadline is a week from this Friday. I still have the option of going back to the A/S Plus. I probably should have left the serenities on the car. What a mess.

I've had the Kumho Ecsta LX for a few years now (I don't use them in winter, I have winter tires for that) and I'm happy with them. I suspect the tread on them will outlast the car lol.
Sure they are, then they lower the car and put 20 inch rims on it with a sliver of rubber.

I've been able to try 2 different tires in my short time owning my 08. The A/S Plus were on the car first and they work great for daily driving but I don't like how you have to constantly input steering corrections while going straight- maybe dropping some pressure will fix this. The second set are Goodyear Eagle GT. I like the Goodyears better as the steering feels better (slightly firmer and no more constant corrections) but there is a trade off- they are a bit firmer and noisier. For me, the improved steering response is worth the trade off. I think the Eagle GTs compound is a bit stickier than the A/S Plus.
