Anyone with a GS300 06 having the cold start up issues. If you have, have you contacted Lexus and what have they told you? I've been in touch with Longo Lexus and Lexus Corp all day. We've settled on me bringing my car in for the diagnosis and then after that's complete, Longo will contact Lexus Corp to see what they are willing to compensate. Apparently, our model is not part of the most recent Customer Support program/recall for the cam gears issue. Or in other words, the cold start up issue. Any feedback would be appreciated! I'll update once I take my car in too.

Your engine is prone to Carbon Buildup issues, have you ever has check engine flash and a rough idle? If diagnosed, lexus will preform a full rebuild for you for free even out of warranty as long as you go through corporate.

I had the rebuild last Year. That's not the issue any longer. Well, i mean i have tranny issues but thats a diff story. Unless this recent Cam Gear build up is related to that? Which i dont think it is. Im only referring to the cam gear issue. Either way, im given the run around and now Lexus corp advised me to bring it in and do the diagnosis.
