OEM Air Filter. What to replace with?
Should I go with the $9.00 OEM Beck Arnley replacement or should I spend the $60 and get the AFE dry filter? I'm assuming the AFE is similar to the F-Sport one.

They're all good filters and they're much better than the K&N I purchased (I got the K&N for 20$ w/ a specific coupon code).... It was a mistake I'll never make again (anything past the filter is dirty now, so I do not recc this filter to anyone anymore).

Tons of options, I would either go with the F-sport or Wix, Purolator, or Fram (all 3 respectively).

Yeah, do the reading on the K&Ns, they have pretty bad reps.... The flow is most definitely there, but the material is so thin that you do get quite a bit of very very fine debris through the piping. On top of that, there are people at BITOG (Bob Is the Oil Guy) forums, that took their oils in for analysis, and got botched results using the k&n because of the oils that came with the filter.
It may be, in the long term, more expensive for paper filters, but they truly are the way to go!
Wix is a toss away filter. I believe they're found at napa? If you have to special order, just order like 10-20 and then stash them away .

I do notice a much better response with the k&n intake.. 18 hp gain.. Not sure but I do feel more power.. Either way.. It's working for me.. Have to put it on the Dyno for that.. Which it's pointless for me. But happy with it.. I think it was money well spent especially I have notice better mpg.

It's a great filter, don't be discouraged because it's Fram!
One thing I don't recommend from Fram anymore is their oil filters.... But that's a whole nother subject.
