Default Thinking About Selling My GS460

How's it going, I am thinking about possibly selling my 2008 GS460. If I do what would be a good starting asking price. I'm located in SoCal and I checked Nada, KBB and Edmunds and it looks like PP sales are between $25k - $27k. Thought I would ask forum members for your thoughts on a starting price.

Some info on the car: I purchased the car as a CPO back in May 2012 with 51115 miles and have put just over 13k miles on the car since i bought it. Current miles are at about 64185. Its not my DD.

The car is in good mechanical condition and is very clean inside/out.

Also, Lexus told me the CPO is not transferrable which doesnt' help with the sale.

The car is fully loaded with ML, parking sensors, and other standard options on the GS460. I put some Morimoto HID's in the fogs and some LED's in the running lights otherwise the car is totally stock. Tires were new when purchased. New brakes all around when purchased and new rotors on front only.

Thanks and appreciate the advice.

Looks like a great clean car with low miles.

Why would you sell it?
I would keep it. Hard to find those kind of cars.

Sounds like a good price. Post it up on Autotrader at $27k and see if you get any bites. Adjust accordingly.

At that price range you'll be in the LS460 range, it all depends how quickly you want to move the car. If you post up a price thats too high intially people get distracted from it, then once you drop the price people get suspicious as to why the cars been for sale for so long.

Thanks all, I appreciate the feedback.

xRYD3Rx, since I bought the Tundra earlier this year I find that I am driving the truck daily and using the Lexus less. I guess I got hooked on driving the truck more, LOL! I probably drive the Lexus once maybe twice a week if that. I will likely wait before making any final decisions.

Again thanks for the feedback.

bro no one on this site is trying to pay anything for what the cars are worth you will get low ball offers all day long better to try and sell on the street or take the loss at the stealership

What's the pay out to EBay if you sell a car through them?

Oh if it's only $125 then that's not a high payout at all.

I do like the car but I hardly use it anymore since I bought the Tundra. Then when I started thinking about possibly selling the GS I really stopped using it to avoid putting miles on it. I know crazy stupid, LOL! But lower miles helps if I do decide to sell.

I hadn't thought about Ebay since I thought their fees would be much higher for selling a car. $125 isn't bad at all.
