Default 06-07 gs430 or 04-06ls430

Hey my names Derek, and im brand new to club lexus. Been into lexus ever since i was a kid and always wanted an is300! But now im a big boy, i work as a bartender, and i have the money for my first lexus! Im really into the VIP scene, i like classy 4 doors to lug around family and friends. I have 14-15k and i was interested in at 2 gen gs430 for a while, but i started looking around and realized a few more cars were in my price range. I chose a lexus for my first luxury 4dr because from what i know/hear lexus is one, if not the most reliable line up of cars. The LS/ucf31 is beyond reliable, a next level of reliable. Sooo, im hear asking you fellas what do you think you would pick if you were in my situation, in terms of RELIABILITY , features, and price range. I dont belive you fellas would recommend anything other than a lexus, but if you will, id like to hear other recommendations of extremely reliable VIP style cars!

infiniti makes some nice reliable cars also, their styling is also nice as much as Lexus.

I will never shy away from my heritage though, my family and wifey are all surrounded around yota/Lexus .

between the two, my heart DOES go to the GS430 over the LS430. Now if you line up a 460 and a 430? I'd take the 460 over the GS anyday.

For the amount of money you have good luck with finding a 06-07 430. If so it would most def have very high miles.

good mileage is all dependent on you, the 3uz is a pretty nicely based engine... I believe members have taken them to 200k+ Miles already without any hiccups.

Are you looking to pull a loan on the car? I would, if I could find a lower mileage 430 or 460 (I'm very biased towards the v8s since they're used in almost bulletproof applications).

I'm a GS fan, but I would have to go with the LS430 if I were you. You can find a nice LS with less than 100k in your price range. Plus you will still have money left over to "VIP" it.

Plus the LS is bulletproof. It will last you a long time and it is VERY reliable.

Props to you good sir, you're one of the few people that's helping the economy more than put it further in the dump!

I'd honestly save ~20k and find myself a 3GS. I just don't have a taste for the 04-06LS, it's just not my style haha.
