AC revolution sensor (speed / slip sensor)
Does anyone know how to bypass the ac compressor lock sensor . It's also known as the speed sensor or slip/revolution sensor. this is the sensor that is part of the compressor, and after a full diagnostic, we think this is the problem with the AC.

the compressor/cluth spins for 10 secs and cold air comes out then it stops. we ran all sorts of test and we think it's the lock sensor that's busted, which is a part of the compressor. so we need to replace it. it's $350 plus $200 for labor.

we bypassed the lock sensor but the ac button is still blinking.
when the engine is running, the ac light blinks. when the engine is off, the ac light stays constant. i think this indicates something wrong with one of the compressors sensors. not the ac amp.
if i have the ac on and keep pressing the auto button, the ac will stay on and blow cold air

i just got my car back from the mechanics who happened to be my friends. the freon is perfect. where is the temperature sensor?
