LED tail lights
Anyone know where I can get a set of LED plates in the rear lights? I notice 5 LED's are burnt or not lighting up on the outer side of the light. Been looking but everyone is selling it as a whole piece with the whole assembly, I just need the whole led set not the shell. I'm looking for used as well, as long as all led's light up.

if you're feeling dicey, bake the tail light (I believe that is the procedure, correct me if i'm wrong anyone), and get someone to unsolder your old LEDs, take a voltmeter, measure voltage, order replacement LEDs accordingly. OR you can ship your LED out for the professional LED companies to cross reference and have them ship it back, after that have it soldered on, or solder it on yourself if you're good at soldering

Would be interested to hear what you find. I have seen so many cars with random patterns in their lights and would want a solution other than an enitre new assembly if/when it comes to doing the same.

^ like everything it is great if done right. Those LEDs are over driven to be super super bright when they can't go that bright. So shorten their life span and they burn.
Also the bright LEDs heat up quite a bit too, it need huge heat sink in the back to dissipate the heat.
