Best way to get 3.5mm audio jack
Title says it all - don't think I can stream audio via bluetooth unfortunately (unless there is a way I am unaware of). The cassette tape to 3.5mm audio jack is awful, I suppose a fm modulator would work but still not great quality...
Thanks for any ideas!

I'm also using the cassette deck... LOL... and yea it works, but I am getting tired of the wires. I think a vaistech plug is the way to go... I looked high and low for a unit that will support ANDROID phones ...not much luck (all support iphone and ipods..no love for droids).
I'm thinking about going vaistech way. I won't have nav screen control but oh well... sigh....

Yeah those vaistech are sweet... Why do you say you wont have nav screen control? From my understanding on reading their site is that you basically use the built in screen, it hooks to your android and the android essentially uses the internal screen as its "monitor"...so you can use google maps (way better than the GPS in the car anyway) - as well as just about any other app. Am I missing something?

How do you know if you have the gen4 nav with ML...whatever that is? Found a local vaistech dealer and went in to talk to him, he had yet to hear of the ivic but called, got informed, and is excited to put it in my car # ; )
Mine is an 07 gs450h (neimen marcus..if that matters). By adding the ivic I will lose no functionality I currently have, and be able to use my integrated (oem) screen with touchscreen to control my phone - do I have that right? If so, that is sweet - and makes me wonder how they do that? Do they know people at toyota/lexus or can you figure out what each wire is doing and then take it from there?

For those wonfering... I contacted VAISTECH about the controller on the iphone (I know others asked about android). As of right now they only make one with the 30 pin apple adapter. But they said the 30 pin lightening adapter to the new 8 pin was fully supported by the product.
