What have people paid to have the dealer replace an HID headlight?

The AFS on my driver side headlight is bad and the dealer quoted me $1275 for the parts and nearly $400 labor to install it. I about fell out of my chair when they told me that. Then he said he would discount it 10% if that made a difference. I couldn't help but laugh at him.

thats because they are quoting you to replace the whole headlight. lexus charges abut $1300 per headlight
