Default HELP: navigation black out

Hey I just purchased an 06 gs300 with navi and marklevinson. When I power on or start car the navi screen shows a Lexus screen for about 0.5 sec and black out. I can't adjust my climate due to black screen and cd changer don't read any of my burn CDs or any CDs at all, it loads and eject,

Another thing you could do is change the mode of the instrument back lights... see if that do anything to the screen.. the panel where you pop to open the gas lid, there is a Mode button, press through that see anything change on your screen.

The inevitable has happened! This is going to be expensive I'm afraid.. unless there is a good electrican that can open the head unit up and see where the problem is.

Oh Goddd!!! Lol I can't just change LCD screen like the rest of the guys that have is250/350? I've read some where , where they change navi unit in the glove department only? Iono give me more info. I'm not really into spending 3 k for a navi unit that's just stupid. They cost as much as a transmission! it way over price!

S1cke92 pm with your number I may have a guy that can help u.

The IS250/IS350 Navi issues were mainly bad solder points that just had to be cleaned and re-soldered.

Hit info on the button cluster. Someone might have turned the screen off in the menu.

Maybe a long shot but check and pull the fuse for the radio/navi? Or even try resetting the ecu? Worth a shot right?
