Default Wix Cabin Air Filter question

About to replace cabin air filter with WIX 24511. Should the arrow point up or down? Direction that came with the part is vague.

The factory one has the arrow pointing up.

Thanks for the reply. For those interested in non-OEM filter, I called WIX and confirmed that the arrow on WIX filter indicates direction of air flow. So the arrow should point down (opposite of OEM filter)

It didn't say "Airflow ↓" on the filter? Weird.

The milky white oem holder has an arrow pointing up on the front side indicating direction of airflow so I would install my filter with arrow pointing up.

Using the air filter as a reference point, the air flow direction is from the filter to the fan.

I made a mistake here. The arrow on the holder/tray is just for the tray, so that we put the tray back in correctly with the tray's arrow pointing up. Arrow on the tray does not indicate airflow.

Air flows from the outside vents below the windshield down, hit the filter, then down to the fan, and out to the interior vents.

My bad. Wasn't thinking

So, like neurocity said, if the filter says "Airflow down", I would install arrow down.
