simmsled, I forgot to ask you are your wheels and tires staggered or where they all the same size before you put the spacers on the car? Sorry to ask so many questions. My wheels are staggered.

As to the finish... must be the lighting and camera variation. I used my iPhone for those pics. After it gets warm out, I'm going to polish/wax the car and get some proper pics with my Leica.

My car did have the trunk lip from the factory.

Thanks for the love. This car is my daily driver, and its a perfect one for me. On a side note, if you haven't got the F Sport sway bars, get them . The sways, combined with a 'sport' tire and eventually some Hawk, Stoptech, or whatever brake pads really aide in bringing these cars to life.

Yup. The stance makes all the difference.
Just make sure to get proper spacers, and install them properly. (Clean mating surfaces, proper torque, etc.)

Yeah, staggered. The IS-F wheels are 19x8 front, 19x9 rear. I have the stock IS-F tire sizes installed, which are 225/40 19 front and 255/35 19 rear. They are just one section width smaller than the tires on Vadimo's car. I'm on the Continental ExtremeContact DW. I LOVE THEM.

I live in Indianapolis.
Our winters are hit/miss between 20 and 50 ish inches per winter. We are supposed to get 3 to 5 inches this weekend I think. Hah, and I already swapped out to summers.
My wife's car has winters on still, so if I need to go anywhere, I'll use her car.

I was born in South Bend, Indiana so I know how bad that lake effect gets! Hopefully you've got some good winter tires on the 18s.

yes sir. I actually drive a GX470 as my winter car and will get the GS460 dialed in for the spring very soon

Did you ever have any issues with vibrations on the front axle? In specific when you let go of the accelerator pedal?

I made another thread. I was told that I should try getting spacers because it might be something with the front wheels?

Hey guys, im also looking to get these wheels on my '08 gs 450h and was wondering if you had any issues with the rear wheels not clearing without spacers. Im not wanting to use spacers and im hoping i wont notice much of a difference stance wise.

It looks like only the rears would be of concern due to the high offset (i.e. 60).

I just have one concern, since the tires are different sizes how would you maintain even tread wear. You cant simply rotate tires or can you ?
