Default Blacked out GS450h Factory wheels?

My CL friends, I have a GS450h that I am debating whether I should black out the factory wheels because my car is black. Does anyone know how these will look blacked out? i've been searching CL but cant find any pics of this being done. I've been debating if I should just black these out and lower them or just get some axis 5ive 19's.

Also, does anyone recommend the H&R springs over the Tanabe NF210? I know tanabe does not make springs for the GS450 so if I get those I should buy the ones for the GS350 right? Thanks

There are black chrome. They don't look half bad. Just to provide you how they may looked if blacked out.

Paint to match your car (obsidian) or a matte black? I like the color matching a little better, but either way, I think it will look good.

Yeah a member did it didn't look that bad. The tanabe NF210 will work fine so will the F-Sport springs. Nobody makes for the GS 450h but they work you just need to watch how they sit. Should be no problems though. Here you go found it. Looks pretty damn good to me.https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-a-sucker.html

Spray them with Plasti dip and see how they look. If it looks bad, peel it off.

Sounds like a good idea. That way it's reversible.

Yah I think I will end up getting the whole rim blacked out and not leave any chrome at all. The CL member that you posted a link left his chrome part the same. I'll prolly just drop the car on some NF210's. My car is black now and grills and all emblems are black too. I just got another idea from the link you posted about blacking out the chrome window border.

you're welcome! you can personally check and confirm the part number in tanabe's website below:

http://www.tanabe-usa.com/nf210.asp?id=2

per tanabe, TNF112 fits the 06-07 GS430 and the 07-11 GS350

and just so you know, i'm also using the same spring that you are planning to get. no problems or issues whatsoever. good luck!
