Default 2008 GS 350 AWD- passenger side wheel noise

49k miles, on and off grinding noise when turning, very inconsistent. Reading other post it could be bearings, but at this low mileage? Is this cover under driver train warranty? If not estimate cost? Any help appreciated.

Sounds like a wheel bearing. It could also be a brake dust shield, ive had that happen to me before.

How are your tires? Are they dry?
I had an on and off grinding noise when turning at slow speed. Replaced the tires, noise is gone.

Mine does the same. Only when going fast on the highway. I hit the curb with one wheel it was out aligned. But alignment didn't help. Only grinds when I turn left. Grinding noise.

could be as simple as brakes or it could be a bearing. it doesnt matter how many miles you have on your car, theres is no set mileage for when things go bad.

Thanks for everyone's feedback. Took it to a mechanic today and they found a rock stuck in the backing plate that was causing the noise. Took a lot of work removing the routers but the noise is gone.

Something so simple. At least it wasn't anything major and expensive. I'm going to have to check mine out this weekend. I have a similar noise.
