Default 5mm spacer......

Ive seen alot of posts about wobbling, shaking and wheel vibration using a 5mm spacer. I will be running 20x9.5/10.5 +23+24. If i wanted to add a 5mm spacer what would all need to be done other than shaving? Or is there really a huge downside to adding this size spacer?....

I had 10mm spacer on a 2 gen GS400 and it was fine with no wobbles. I mainly used them to bring the wheel out further to bring it flush with the fender and the spacer helped to achieve the look I was after.

I would recommend using a quality spacer. I believe I used H&R.
