Default Viper car starter 4704v help

On my 08 gs 350awd I just installed viper car starter. Everything works fine. Only issue I have is when I start the car with the remote and get into my car when I press the break to put in reverse the car shuts off and I have to start it up again by pushing the push start. Any way of fixing this or bypassing it so it doesn't shut off. Thanks

disconnect the brake wire from the alarm, but now if you start your car from a remote location anyone can just break the glass, hop in, and leave with your car

It feels like you didn't install it right. That sounds like a regular key start, I'm sure they have a keyless start method.

Makes sense why it does that . So I take it this is normal for push start cars? Thanks for the input
