I think the price is high! They are asking $23k for an 06. $18,995 is their special financing tactic that will have you paying $30k when you are finished with the payments.

but its private party not a dealer so hence my post. not common for a private party seller to have this done, doesn't mean they can't, but not something you typically see with a private party sale. Given the region would give me more reason to think possible water damage.

Actually this is a dealer, they probably made a mistake of putting it as private

I'm in canada, a few hours away from NJ. An 07-08 GS350Awd [not the same car, i know, but close with the equipment and options] with <50k miles goes for 20-22k CAD all day at a dealership.
These are cheaper than IS's in some cases, all 3GS' for some reason.
There's that 07 GS450h on here [classifieds] with a fresh battery & 100k on it for 20k asking, private sale.
Why? The protective stuff is normal. 99% of real dealerships will put that down. I put some down after i detail a car - which is what this is for... so they don't have to steam clean it again with test drives/dirty shoes of lot lizards moving the car around.

^ Yeah, i assumed it was a typo since no private party takes such detailed pics unless its an ebay ad, even then, most of the time the pictures seem to be shot with a calculator no less...
I'm surprised you've never heard 'lot lizards'; the dudes that move cars around in the dealer lot. If you got a laugh, right on!
And the storm was an ugly one, but no one would've reconditioned this car that quick, IMO. If they did it was a hell of a job.
