Default Lexus GS350 AWD mpg question!!!!

My friend and I both have a 07 Awd lexus gs350. The only diffeence is that I have k&n intake and tanabe exhaust and he has tanabe exhaust with a f sport intake. My question is that wheb we both fill up our tanks the meter says that I can only run 275 miles and he can run up to 350 miles. Can someone please tell me why that is?!?!?!?! Thank you love you

it has to do with your driving habits and historic mpg numbers on that particular vehicle. driving range is calculated that way. if you generally have a heavier foot and smaller mpg number, your range will be less.

at one time, with my 08 gs350, i paid full attention to the mpg and my driving habit, i saw the range went up from 340 all the way to 430+

Lexus' in general are pretty solid when it comes to everything, particularly tranny and engine. The awd system is reliable and I wouldn't worry too much.

You could have a bad water pump, I heard of stories of people getting poor gas mileage before the water pump goes out.
