I have an 06 GS430 and am thinking about changing the brakes and rotors. The brakes are okay, but there is a "choppiness" I have experienced since I have owned the car. I just had four new rotors installed about 1 year ago and although they work well, I have some squeekiness that occurs when the brakes are cold (may be normal). I want to have the ability to obviously stop quicker and with better consistency and smoothness.

I have no idea what is out there on the market and would appreciate any feedback. Also, what is the average cost for a new set-up (front and rear). Thanks

i replaced mine front + rear rotors n pads for $320 i think. DIY obviously.

rotors using r1concept slotted rotors n akebono pads. so far so good, no complaint, good bite too imo.

I have a completes set of slotted rotors from brake performance dot com and OEM pads. Running them over a year and push them pretty hard and still true and work great. And they send out 10% off coupons all the time
