looking to buy 2006 gs
Hello, looking to buy a 2006 GS AWD. 2 cars I am looking at, one 92000 miles, the other 87000 miles, I own a 04 ES, great car, what to look out for, timing belt change, etc. Any help would be good, thanks, i will search this site, see what I can find.

you're looking a tthe 2006 GS AWD, that should mean you're looking for a 2006 GS300, in result, they are the resultant engines "3GR-FSE", Both have timing chains.
Expect a slight ticking noise, as FSE=direct port injection, someone correct me if I am wrong.
Do transmission flush, rear differential fluid change.... pretty much a FULL fluid change inside out. Some engine maintanence that you can run off of reference here:

If you plan on lowering the car at all, stay away from the AWD model!
Also, if you can afford it, go with a 2007+ model GS350. 60 more HP, bigger beefier brakes, and upgraded navigation system. The extra HP alone is worth it. What xxGokuxx said is correct.. you will hear a slight ticking noise from outside the car or if the window is open due to direct injection, but it's not a big deal. As far as flushing all the fluids, I'd just check the maintenance records and ensure that everything was done at the proper intervals, if something was skipped, have it done.
That said, I have both the GS300 AWD and the GS350 RWD. They are both great.
