Brake sensitivity at the pedal
I found an old thread that talked about it
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...nt-brakes.html
I8ABMR said in post #6 "...the amount of force on the pedal to stop is higher with the GS..."
I drove my aunt's IS350 and when i stepped on the pedal I practically jerked forward. I would say I stepped on it with half the force I would on my GS.
My theory was that because I got my rotors resurfaced, the distance between the brake pads and rotors were a bit further. Therefore, I would need to press on the pedal a bit harder in order for the brake pads to touch the rotors. If you don't understand what I'm saying imagine front brakes on a bicycle. You can adjust the brake pads closer to the rim of the bicycle. The closer it is to the rim the faster it will touch the rim when you use the hand brakes.
Anyways, is there a way to make it more sensitivity to where I don't have to press down as hard to start the the braking process? haha

Short of new rotors and pads no, but honestly the difference wouldn't be huge unless your pads are low too. If you just had the rotors resurfaced and put new pads on, the difference is so marginal you wouldn't be able to feel it in the pedal. We're talking a tenth of an inch at most.
The other factors are brake fluid, how old/contaminated is it, any air in the lines, and the amount of vacuum pressure for the brakes.
My bet is that it comes down to the different size and weight of the vehicle. Same amount of pressure applied will not slow a GS downs fast as an IS because of the weight difference.
