Sorry to hear about that accident (especially for the biker). That's a tough one . . . Dude, what happened to you? Got my nuts caught by a shark fin! LOL. I'd also love to hear what they do with that roof.
On another note. . . . . . . . . am I the only one here who was expecting to see an article talking about a set of Michelins? Just saying.

They're great tires! Super, super sticky and very quiet. Though anything would be better than the Bridgestone EL42 RFTs the car came with! The only thing I've yet to determine is how long they will wind up lasting...

Luckily the back bumper cover has been replaced 2 times already after being rear ended twice in short order. I've found a body shop that is very good at matching the color and they are pretty good about doing it over if I'm not satisfied.
I don't want the roof to be painted black but I may look into a black vinyl while i'm at it.
