Side view Mirrors Will not Return to original position
My side view mirrors do not always end up where I set them. If I set them at a certain angle and drive, shut off the car and re start it I have to re position them every time. Whats the deal? Do they have to be programmed through the pre-set buttons? I want to say this also sometimes happens if I reverse the car..they tilt down and do not return to where I had set them.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

if you unlock and get in the car and the mirrors are not in your position, it might be the remote association. each remote can be associated to one of the memory position. you should program it to correspond to the memory button you are using. read the manual
if you put it in reverse, tilt down, and then it doesn't come back up to the right original location, then that sounds like the case of internal plastic gear stripping. common problem on all lexus
