I'm curious what caused the brake dust shield rubbing against the rotor during the turn.
Brake dust shield & wheel bearing are covered under EW. Let see what deal says when I bring the car in next week.
Cancelled the appointment with dealership. Turning the car on wet road and smoother roads didnt' make a light grinding noise. My take is it's the RFT making that noise on a slow turn.
Also noticed the inside of all the tires wears a bit faster than the outside. An alignemnt will be needed.

Will get new tires in a month and go from there. This time, they will be conventional tires even I get 38K miles out of RFT and 5/32 tread left. With winter is coming, it's time for new tires.

hi the mechanic is correct as when you have to remove the wheel bearing and hub (one part) you have to hammer it out from the back side they don't come out easy its not just having to remove 4 bolts I had to replace both my front ones and after removing them they are in no shape to be used again they cost around 300 Usd each from Lexus...

If you use the proper tool(Slide hammer) you wont damage them when removing, and they come out easily. But if you hillbilly it out with a hammer, you will damage it.

looks like you not done a gs450h please have a look at the hub before posting... if there is a tool I am willing to buy it I have three diff slide hammer, not possible as at the back of the hub there is the abs sensor also they is no hole in the centre of the hub and they don't come out easily... if you just had the hub replaced then they come out easily but if its been on for a while then hillbilly is the only way I know as I have replaced them and asked Lexus tech before hammering them out...

They make a service tool that bolts to the wheel studs, with a hook built in to attach the slide hammer. Hope this helps.
