Pole Position
I got a pair of OE philips 4300k bulbs a couple years ago for around $50. I'd buy another pair at that price as another backup if I found them as I have no issue with the colour.

Brightness - how much light was output from the bulb
Visibility - what we can see.
Example, black light can be brighter and brighter, but we can't see it. It's in the UV range that our eyes cannot see.
Our eyes is more tune to see 4300k than 6000k. This number is referring to the color. 4300k is more visible to us human. 6000k is more blue and going toward the UV range, it's not very visible but work great with reflective surface.
BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASSSEEEE MAKE SURE YOUR CAR HAVE A CUTOFF. HID is glaring. I've seen too many vehicles with HID glaring like crazy. One glance and I get blind for a few seconds. I glance everywhere when I drive, it's called "KEEPING AN EYE OUT" so don't tell me not to look cause it's part of my driving.
