Sorry Kenny, you're not making a lot of sense.
When you brake - hard or gradually alike - your steering wheel jerks left or right?
Is this a recent development or something gradually getting worse over the last lot of weeks/months?
If not wheel alignment or balance, then sounds a lot like discs are warped.
When was the last time you checked or had them checked for run-out and thickness?
They may be skimmable, but equally they may need simply replaced with new ones, in which case you'd be better to change the pads, unless there's still plenty on them.
I'm not quite grasping what you're trying to say about steering wheel "hardening" - do you mean stiff to turn?
If so, then maybe the two are connected, and it's not the brakes after all, but the steering servo/motor.
If that's the case, then I'd expect a fault code to be logged if a steering sensor is fitted in our cars.

I've actually had the same issue. I don't know any other way to explain it though either, other than when I brake, especially if it's a decently hard brake for a light I can't get through at the last minute the car will pull (I want to say typically to the right). My friend even drove the car once to pick up someone up and told me the same thing when he got back. I've noticed it ever since I got the car. I don't know if it's related or not but I also hear some clicking noises when I initially drive my car and turn, but they tend to go away after a minute.
I'd also appreciate any suggestions as to what this might be -- thanks!

All in all, ALL of your calipers should be checked, to reassure yourself the calipers are working 100% (as witnessed on a few cars i've fixed), check the wear and tear on the brake pads.... whomever changed your pads should have checked them to make sure there is even wear throughout.

So I brought my car in to the dealership for a routine 65000 mile service and go figure, the rear calipers are bad. Fortunately they're covered under my extended warranty but just thought I'd mention it. Sounds like you guys were right! Hope that does the trick.

i brought the car to my local mechanic, he test drive it, and my tires are worn not evenly, so he suggests to replace them, and aligment then the car would be fine, i asked the calibers, he said if issues with calibers, then when you brake at normal speed, the car would go to left or right, so iam happy the issue dues to the tires, but nothing else
