Welcome to the club as for your questions yes Lexus are super reliable you can drive them too 300k with ease. The GS300 uses the same motor from the old generation I believe which I think is the 2jz engine from the Supra the motors are bullet proof if it is same engine from the 2nd generation they use cast iron so the motor is practically bulletproof. My buddy owns a 2nd gen GS300 sport design and he is at 190k riding like its still new sorry to here about your G I think I would have killed my little sister lol (sarcastic laugh).
