Default 2010 Lexus gs 350 brakes making noise! (pissed)

Been almost a month I have purchased my Lexus, it was stated that the brake pads are newly installed by the dealer!!
This 2-3 days it started to make noise while coming to a stop at red lights, stop sign, etc.
I notice it does not make a noise while reversing, Usually makes a noise while driving.
only drove 700-800 miles!!
Since it has 3 year warranty will dealer fix it? Or will i be paying for it to be fixed?

Ridiculous !

Thanks !

Moved to correct forum. BTW, you should contact the dealer and have them fix it since the car still has warranty.

The dealers better fix it!
Keep in mind it is a 2 year old Lexus, stuff doesn't break that quickly, I don't think?

Depending on the year, etc. there is a TSB for squeaky front brakes. If the parts are/were installed from them, they should be OEM and covered. The TSB calls for upgraded rotors & pads that had a change in the compound. Fixes the problem

Off the top of my head, I don't remember the TSB number. If I remember correctly, it does apply to the 2010 model, but I am not 100% certain. If I were at work, I would be able to look it up...

No problem thanks anyways. I'll take dealer tomorrow and get it fixed and also find out what the TSB is. Are you a mechanic?

Oh thats great! took the car for a 5-10minute spin around my town and brakes were fine.
Happens on and off not all the time. Is it still worth taking it in? The dealer stated the brakes were BRAND NEW replaced.

How many miles? Chances are if brakes are brand new, it means they put new pads on, and resurfaced the rotors. If this is the case, and they still squeak, then the updated rotors have not been installed...

Let me check tonight and see if I can find the TSB

Dont remember exactly how many miles but its in between 24,200-24,250.

Took it to Longo Lexus in the morning they told me the front brakes had a problem. And they told me there going to change everything and put a newly (updated) brake and rotors and disc ! took the car out of the dealer and no problem at all. I thing I will make sure they dont wash the car anymore. They wash and I guess they dont dry it good and water marks are all over the windows trunk etc. Also hand washed my car on Saturday was shining

I am glad you got that taken care of! I have been so busy that I honestly forgot to look for the TSB number, but it sounds like it applied to yours! I will look it up tomorrow (I will actually make a note!) and I will provide the info here for those that need it!
