Noice! I was 23 I believe, it's been 2 years+ now..... Still loving every moment I sit in the car and drive.
I (unfortunately) picked a GS over a LS460L w/ the ultra luxury package n everything..... worst mistake in car buying
I'll have it one day

This is an interesting thread... kind of off topic, but I was 25 when I bought an 01 Z06 back in 07... my logic, buy my vette now because if I don't, I won't get one till I'm 50. I'm 30 now, so I am no where near "a young 3GS owner", at least on this forum

I remember when i was 17 and got my 2GS when it was like 2-3 years old. I too also got all these stares and stereotypes. I still own my 2GS. I have a car dealer for a living BTW. Im 27 now.

i used to own a G35, and to be honest it was fun for first 2 months, after that, it start to make lot of unneccessary noise and things start to break down on me, seriously that's the crappest japanese car i ever owned.. I did not miss it at all, i would rather pick up chicks in my 7th gen Accord coupe instead.. crashed the accord early this year... it serve me really well for the past 5 years 100k miles

Wow, so am I old? I got it at 32, 33 now.
Also, I wonder how many of you young guns contribute to your 401k and your portfolios, or savings accounts.
This is my first and only, out of 10 cars I owned that is financed, and I only did that after I bought my own residence.

Seriously though, The younger ages don't bother me. What will though is when our car becomes cheap enough to fall into the hands of ricers. For me, that's the telltale sign of when it's time to buy a new car.
Just like when you notice your neighbors are putting plastic lawn ornaments out and stop taking care of their yard. Time to move on.

got my 3gs last september, turning 23 on july 4th!!
as for the question about getting this instead of imports or coupes.. i figured i was planning on keeping my next car for a long while, and didn't wanna have to get another car as i get older, the gs is a grown man's car!! no offense to anyone who has one but g35's seem like young boys' cars to me lol.. i don't think theres anyway you can mod a g35 and have it look classy and elegant
oh, and plus my whole family drives lexus's!!

I'm probably one of the youngest member on this forum. But the reason I bought this car over others is that I wanted something that's going to last me for the next 10+ years, which having a car that is practical, fun, and comfortable is very important, not to mention the reliability of Toyota/Lexus. The 3GS just seemed like the perfect balance, plus it looks very classy and and stands out while not being too "crazy". I get tons of compliments on the car and never have anyone said its a grandpa car, maybe it's because I got the GS450h, they all know how fast this thing is hahaha. I don't get too much "stares" though, people say I look a lot older...
