I did all the routine things your supposed to do put everything back together and i started driving it felt that the rear pads were constantly making contact , as i was driving i came to a complete stop and the brakes were smoking . I have to have done something wrong , any ideas or suggestions on what to look for when i take it apart tmrw ? Thank !

I had to replace the calipers on mine....both of them. Have you lubricated the pins?

Anyone had this issue ? I room it papart 6 times. Caliper is releiceing it seems like , hand brakes releaseing and adjusred , there are no air pockets. I went and boiught dealer pads and compared them to the akebono ones and the look the same diameter wise but they are slightly dif when it comes to the edges. Could it be defective pads ?

its the calipers they had a TSB on them for that reason, you may need to take it to the dealer and have them replaced.

Was it your Left side wheel?
The calipers have issues, Lexus would not cover mines under the recall, so i ended up doing the enite car brake job. Front back Pads/ rotors and rear calipers.

turned out that both rear calipers were seized and were not traveling but the pistons were fine i bought reman ones and put them in car stops like new, but mand did i go through hell lol . I guess the car may have been standing for a long time at the dealer before i bought the car and it seized up. I supposed since the car uses 80 front and 40 rear they were moving past a certain point and the pads were worn down, so the caliper would travel only a certain distance and worked fine for that reason.
