Default Retractable rear window shade

Does anyone know if it is easy to replace the retractable rear window shade? My wife stuck something in the back and when it moved up, it tore the screen.

Thanks,

Shane

I don't know about that. Once you have been trained it is easy. Going through a new training program could be painful.

Question Rear shade Shane7003

I had some trouble with my rear shade as well, 2006 GS300, I found a used one for half the price and changed the motor, mine was not working well. I have a complete rear shade in original condition. except for the motor that lexus would not sell me.
Are you still looking for a rear shade with a good screen?
I have one and for $200 with shipping it is yours, if this seems fair?
Let me know. thanks

No it's not hard, purchasing the part is a bit expensive though.

You'll simply remove the rear deck, removing seats and etc, and move your way to the back to a few bolts.
