I have a 2006 GS300 with a little over 75k on it. Most of the maintenance I do on my own, but talking to the dealer, they recommended an air induction cleaning. It cost about $200 and takes a few hours. What is this and has anyone had this done? What are your thoughts about getting this service done? Also what additional service would be good to have done at this mileage? Thanks.

This sounds like a muffler service to me... Muffler rejuvenation.

The only thing they can do is, change the filter, maybe replace oil in compressor, change out freon. clean the AC condenser from the outside, usually blowing out dead bugs and such.

I dont think this is needed, unless AC doesnt work well or smells weird.

They're probably talking about doing a throttle body service and fuel injection service, or also called a fuel induction service. It's a good service to do(improves gas mileage, cleans out the intake and throttle body and cleans injectors) But if you do your own services, you can probably save the money and do it yourself. Just go to Toyota and buy their throttle body cleaner can.
