the car pictured above does not look as if it has had major fender work at all, possibly a shave and slight 'pull'. the ability to fit larger width wheels with very aggressive offsets is due to negative camber, which is very obvious on the pic. it's all a matter of what you hope to acheive - you can fit almost anything within reason by adding the negative camber, but have to rotate then replace tires every few months...or you can do some (major) fender work and get the best of both worlds - good treadlife and aggressive offset. either way will cost you. if you are static, as Jason and i are, the 20 x9.5 +10 may be doable. you will have to do some work, which will not require a shop, to fit. you will rub even after grinding down the bumper frame. if you are not overly low, you should be ok as long as you don't ride around 4 deep.
20 x10 +-0 will not fit without major work if you are low. period.
if you are on air, this discussion is moot.
bottom line is, do your research. measure many times. use the resources available. shelling out the kind of $$ it takes to buy 'VIP' wheels in aggressive offsets, and then finding they do not fit is not something i would want to go through.
you can do pretty much anything, it's just a matter of what you are willing to spend to acheive it. GL

A very conservative older guy here, I don't understand the willingness to have to put out that kind of money to obtain a look that may require constant tire changes? Am I reading this correctly?
The car looks really cool, but, does that kind of offset mess up the suspension really bad and if so is it worth it?
I just bought a GS and it has 18" wheels and run flats and I have to take the car into Philly where I work and I worry about the *****ty roads and what it would to the larger wheels and thinner (lower aspect) tires. It would kill my car.
You guys must have some really nice roads.
