Can't wait to see when it's all done. Like that current look though, white w/ gold.

Okay so here is a little update:

Wheels are apart and the faces sent for powder coating, gloss black.

Vinyl on order...

And now the real star of the show. My brand new 2012 HD 48. Sooo stocked.
I'm bringing it home to strip it apart. It will be apart before it hits the Canadian summer!!

Needless to say the GS is taking a backseat!

My plans include:
Matte black or brown paint
Raw steal tank
Lowering suspension, even though its already so low
Raw brown springer seat
Shopped rear fender
Drag bars
Wrapped shorty pipes
I have all these parts before the bike, fat rear tire and springer front end in the works too!

Got my wheels back from powder coating. Now with my new toy I'm having second thoughts about the wrap. Just seems like a lot of work! haha

Heck yeah. I have a vrod night rod. The bike community is awesome. I've been in it since I was 16, now 22, and they all have treated me well. Good luck on the builds.

Having the same dilemma with my bros wheels. He wanted bronze lips on a matte inner. We're looking into doing plasti dipping the lips. They make all kinds of colors, even metallic. Www.dipyourcar.com has demos...

Well the bike is back together...

For my GS i got a sample of the matte charcoal and I didn't like the color. Was going to wrap in matte white but thats kind of a waste. So I'll probably just gloss black out all the chrome trim and maybe the roof. Truth is I love white cars and only buy my cars in white. So I'll leave it as is until someone comes out with a nice matte gunmetal or until I sell it...

No head aches whatsoever. Only thing is on the awd the front won't go as low as the 2wd because the upper control arm is beefier and touches the top of the inner fender....
