What a way to start the year smh, that happened to me on my tahoe, had to put those guards on so it wouldnt happen again. You can try some of those rebuilable spots around the bruckner to see if they have one

I think you need to check the options on your car. Look at the passenger side mirror, if in the corner it has s like lines then you have heated mirrors. Mine didnt come with heated mirrors

You just confused the guy, None of the GS's come with lines in the mirror nor a little opening for the dimmer to work. There is only few ways to tell, check to see if plugs match with the mirror i send you a link, turn on the defroster for the back window and in 1 min touch passenger side mirror see if its warm/hot. Auto dimming would only work if lights are bright in rear view mirror and side, I usually check pointing my flashlight into the little opening on the rear view mirror to see if its working. But I am not sure if it also dims the side mirrors.

So to activate the heated mirrors, I have to turn on the rear defrost? That's crazy cuz I never knew the Gs had that option, or atleast I thought I didn't have it! I'm bout to go check other out!

If your GS has heated side mirrors the push button in the console will have the diagram for it. As mentioned already it's the same button for the rear defroster. For OP folding in your mirrors might help preventing this from occurring again.

Yea it is... I just didn't know that until now(and I thought I knew everything there is to know about my car). Thanks for all the help guys but I went to hunts point in the Bronx today and got a used one for 40 bucks... They wanted $70 but I talked them down. Heat and dim work perfect!! So if y'all ever need a mirror or a window, I got a spot for u!!
